Why one visit beats eight
Every trip has a cost built into it, whoever you call. Eight small jobs on one visit costs less per job than the same eight spread over a month, so we would rather have the full list up front — including the parts you think are too small to mention.
What helps us price it
Photos tell us more than descriptions. A picture of the wall, the fixture or the gap says whether something is a ten-minute job or a job with a surprise behind it, and it is usually enough to price the list without coming out.
Where we stop
Some items are not handyman work, and we say so before we start rather than halfway through. Anything behind a wall, a new circuit or structural work goes to the right licensed trade, and we will point you at someone where we can.
How It Works
- 01
Send Us The List
Call, text or send photos. The whole list, not the one thing you think is worth bothering us about — it is cheaper to do eight things in one visit than eight things in eight.
- 02
You Hear Back Today
A real person, the same day. For most lists we can price it from photos; if it needs a look, we come and look for free.
- 03
One Price, Agreed First
You get the list back with a price against it before anything starts. Nothing gets added without you saying yes to it first.
- 04
We Turn Up When We Said
A real arrival window, not 'sometime Tuesday' — and a call if anything moves it. Most lists are done in a single visit.
- 05
We Walk It With You
We go down the list together before we pack up. Anything you are not happy with gets sorted then, not scheduled for another day.
Repairs & Honey-Do Lists: common questions
Is it worth calling you for one small job?
There is a call-out cost in any visit, whoever you use, which is why we ask for the whole list. Tell us what the one item is and we will be straight with you about whether it is worth a trip on its own.
Can I get a price before you come out?
For most lists, yes. Send photos and a description and you get the list back with a price against each item. If something needs a look first, the look is free.
What happens if you find something worse once you start?
We stop and show you what we found, what it takes and what it costs. Nothing is added to the job without you saying yes to it first.
Helping homeowners throughout Washington County
Most of our work is in Washington County and the streets around it, which is how we can usually get to a list within the week rather than the month. If you are just outside, call anyway — we will tell you straight if we can get there.
